Explore: Pacific Heights SF

Our dearest Adrienne celebrated her birthday a few weeks ago, and she had a few stipulations: 1. She wanted a lady weekend in San Francisco 2. She wanted to explore a neighborhood we typically don’t go to and 3. she wanted to eat and eat well.

The Pacific Heights (aka Pac Heights) neighborhood provided everything she wanted and more. We rented an Airbnb that was perfect for a small group of women to come together and enjoy the weekend. Best of all, the home had an outdoor dining area (!!!) It was one of the best dinners I’ve had in recent memory. For more info on the Airbnb itself, click here.

If you’ve never been to San Francisco, this neighborhood is quintessential SF – it’s walkable and lined with old victorian homes that you’ve seen on TV. Fillmore Street is the main drag and is lined up with cafes, wine bars, bakeries, and lots and lots of shopping.

B. Patisserie was also very close to our home for the weekend. We loved it so much that we had to go twice. The chocolate kouign aman is a must!

We also took a 10 minute walk over to the Marina for more exploring. After a birthday ride at Soulcycle (along with a stop at Sephora for the Fenty release), we stopped into Anomie. Mary Ann said, “If my brain decided to open up a boutique store, this would be it.” Yes, that is a boob bathmat that you can purchase here.

Prior to our Saturday dinner festivities, we decided to have dinner at drinks at Liholiho Yacht Club followed by a night of karaoke in Japantown. We recommend getting the spam and rice plate at Lilholiho and, of course, the Baked Hawaiian.

On Saturday, more women arrived to celebrate our Adrienne’s birthday. We made cacio e pepe and Il Buco style kale salad courtesy of Chrissy Teigen’s Cravings cookbook. That woman knows what’s up.

And of course there was wine. Lots of it.
